Calling the Body of Christ in Connecticut:
"Now therefore, says the Lord, Turn to Me with all your heart.....return to the Lord your God....."
Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a Sacred Assembly; Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders,...." Joel 2:12,15
Hear the call to increase the level of worship, prayer and intercession for our state, both individually and corporately. The Body of Christ is challenged once again come together to intercede corporately for Connecticut, for the New England region, for our nation, for the world. Upcoming are very important prayer events that give you opportunity to join in prayer with your brothers & sisters in Christ across our state. We've already prayed and interceded for Connecticut over the past few years, but we must not lose heart. Not until we see breakthrough. Now is not the time to give up.
Starting September 25 (Rosh Hashanah) there is a call for 10 Days of Prayer across Connecticut, part of a national prayer effort. Every day during these Jewish 10 Days of Awe there will be a prayer gathering somewhere in Connecticut. I challenge you to join in spending these 10 days in fasting and prayer for God to move in Connecticut, that wells of revival will open up once again in Connecticut. Sacrifice your time during these 10 days in increased prayer. Get before God as you never had before. Skip some meals. Give up TV and internet. Go to all of the prayer meetings.
Plan to come to The Praying Church conference, learn how establish increased prayer in your church community, truly become houses of prayer that Jesus calls us to be as stated in Matthew 21:13, Mark 11:17, and Luke 17:46: My House shall be called a HOUSE OF PRAYER.....
You don't want to miss God's move! As we all know.....it all starts with prayer.
