HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The year 2023 certainly has been one exciting year; a year of turmoil. For us at HOGH, we've been pressing into the Lord more than ever before. Last May we joined the worldwide Isaiah 62 fast & prayer for Israel. Like many intercessors, we sensed "something" was about to happen. What, we didn't know. Many thought it may have been increased civil unrest, possibly civil war in Israel. The country was divided.

Some of us sensed something much more was about to happen, something that possibly could affect the whole world. Possibly the beginning of the end? Whatever it was, we went to prayer even more fiercely than ever. Something was about to happen and it would greatly affect all of us, especially our beloved state of Connecticut.

Little did we realize what we sensed was that horrible Hamas invasion from Gaza! Praise God for our preparation from last May. Especially our prepared hearts. House of Good Hope was ready. We immediately started daily prayer for Israel since the war began October 7. We haven't stopped praying and will not stop until the Lord tells us to stop. Some of us fasted and some of us will continue to fast until this war is over. What is going on in Israel greatly affects all of us in Connecticut as well as the rest of the world. Something worldwide is happening. We hear the Lord calling us to partner with Him in prayer. and we will continue through worship, prayer and intercession. 

You are welcome to join us in our daily prayer! The prayer meeting is every Monday thru Friday 6-7AM and Saturday & Sunday 5-6PM on Zoom. Even though we're a Connecticut house of prayer, many intercessors from other states and around the world join us. You are encouraged to join us in praying the Lord God's purposes. Come pray with us as often as you can.

PROPHETIC PEACE GATHERING!

There's been a rise in antisemitism that has taken many of us by surprise.But it shouldn't. We need to understand the antisemitism has always been here in our country and around the world. Now is the time for this evil to be addressed. Who better to fight than the Body of Christ?  What better place to start this fight this than New England, who began the abolitionist movement in the 1800s?

What if Connecticut started another "abolitionist movement", this time to abolish antisemitism?

Monique Beadle is the Director of US Policy & Diplomacy at Jerusalem Institute of Justice, an Israeli human rights NGO based in Jerusalem. As a human rights attorney, she has advised peace negotiators with many persecuted people groups around the world. She nows serves as an advocate for Israeli civilians within the UN system and on Capitol Hill. Monique is the grandchild of Holocaust survivors from Germany.
