Ministries

HOUSE OF GOOD HOPE believes and practices taking our prayer out into the community. Prayer should never be locked up in the back room of a church. People should see us praying, and people should be prayed for. Powerful things take place when prayer is taken to the streets. We get to see what and who we’re praying for, even interact with the people we meet. The Word of God is declared in the marketplace! We pray at the very moment legislative bills are being introduced in the House or the Senate. We even pray for our state senators and representatives.

We oversee outreach ministries such as:

** CONNECTICUT STATE CAPITOL PRAYER WALKING TEAMLucy Snow and Robin Hansen, co-leaders
Every Monday through Friday throughout the year there is someone praying in our Connecticut State Capitol. They join tour groups, walk around the open areas of both the State Capitol and the Legislative Office Buildings, sit in open House and Senate sessions – all the while praying for our legislators and for bills as they are passed into law. Would you like to join our team?

TO REGISTER:  Go to TABERNACLE RETREAT

Do you want to have regular face-to-face encounters with the Living God?  We will learn how to use Dr. Cho’s “Tabernacle” prayer model to lead us into a greater and deeper intimacy face-to-face union with the Living God, the Great I Am.  All hungry pursuers of God’s Presence are welcome to come.  This will be a time of entering into the Lord’s Presence in a deeper, richer and fuller way.  Our retreat will start Friday evening; we will join the monthly IGNITE prayer and worship night at the old Moody homestead.  Saturday morning will be teaching on the Tabernacle prayer, Saturday afternoon we will go into the Tabernacle.
