SHABBAT!
Saturday, September 24
10am-12pm
South Church
(in the chapel!)

Starting this Saturday, September 24 in our Shabbat services, House of Good Hope will study the Biblical Fall Holy Days. We will discover why we Gentile Christians need to learn the meaning in these holy days, why it is as important to us as well as to the Jews.

This Saturday we will learn the prophetic significance of ROSH HASHANAH, otherwise known as the "Feast of Trumpets", or Yom Teruah.

During this holy season, the schedule will be as follows:

• Saturday, September 24 - Yom Teruah (Rosh Hashanah or Feast of Trumpets)

• Saturday, October 1 - Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement)

• Saturday, October 8 - Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles)

• Saturday, October 15 - We will celebrate Sukkot outside in a tent

You are invited to join us during this significant holy season. Come at 10:00 AM in the chapel at South Church, 277 Main Street, Hartford CT.

"10 Days" is a prayer meeting for your entire city.

The goal is a season where Jesus Christ is the focus of every heart in your geographical area for 10 complete days. "10 Days 2022" is from September 25 - October 5. In 2021, "10 Days" was celebrated simultaneously in over 200 cities and towns around the globe.

Have you ever seen a city-wide Church?

Usually a city-wide Church is invisible to us—one of the major goals of 10 Days is to make it visible, and in the process, reveal who Jesus is. We are His Body, after all!

While we are the Body of Christ on earth right now, Jesus Himself is physically in heaven, seated at God’s right hand. We know He’s coming back quickly; as some of us repeat every Sunday in the Apostle’s Creed - “He is coming again to judge the living and the dead”. We know that “when we see Him, we will be like Him”.

Romans 8:23 speaks of this deep longing for Christ’s return when it says, “we groan inwardly, waiting eagerly for…the redemption of our bodies.”

"10 Days" is designed to bring that groan, which is already deep inside of us, to the surface. It’s a longing for things to be as they should be. It’s a mourning because of sin and brokenness in us and in the world which causes the daily devastation we’ve come to accept. It’s a recognition that there’s only one who can satisfy, that there is only one who can rescue. It’s a heart-cry for Jesus’ return.

Join us on September 29th at 7pm, right here at 277 Main Street in Hartford, CT - for a night of prayers and praises, led by some Greater Hartford's prayer warriors, with worship led by our very own South Church Worship Team! We hope to see you there!"

House of Good Hope is partnering with South Church in prayer. Join us at 7:00pm Thursday, September 29 for this powerful evening of prayer!

WORSHIP & WATCHMEN
INTERCESSORY MISSIONS TRIP
October 27-November 6, 2022

House of Good Hope is partnering again with RECONNECTING MINISTRIES reconnectingministries.org by sending a team of our intercessors to travel with them to Israel. We will visit and pray with 10-12 prayer houses around the land as types of "Aaron & Hur" to strengthen and encourage them.  We believe as we help to strengthen our brothers and sisters in Israel, and pray for the spiritual climate there the Lord will release a greater power back on the nations, especially the harvest. Our main prayer focus is the Heart of the Father and The One New Man. We at House of Good Hope believe our Messiah Yeshua is soon to return. Our interceding in & for Israel is part God's plan for us is to pray for the Bride to make herself ready.

Will you partner with us in this powerful call? Help us by raising funds to send our team to Israel. You can also help us sow a blessing into the prayer houses in the land. We will give a generous offering to each prayer house we visit. You can donate through our website: hartfordprayer.com or through PayPal (@hartfordprayer) or Venmo ($hartfordprayer). Please note the donation is for Israel missions trip.
